I Think Binkies Are Sort Of Gross

In my line of work pacifiers are a part of my daily life. They sort of gross me out though. Under the age of one they have value. They help prevent SIDS so that is a really good benefit. However as kids get older I think that the whole binkie thing gets gross. They'll drop it and shove it right back in their mouths.

If I ever have kids the binkie fairy will come and take their binkies when they turn one. After that they don't really serve a purpose aside from the child going to sleep more easily. I'd rather deal with a rough week than a rough talk with the dentist when the kid's teeth get all messed up from sucking on a dirty binkie.
