I am appalled at the police for interfering with an act of kindness from the ninety-year-old gentleman. He had been feeding the homeless for over twenty years. They have banned public food sharking on Friday in Fort Lauderdale Florida. They also arrested two preachers for doing the same thing. All three face up sixty day's jail times and a $550.00 fine. Now can the Fort Lauderdale police promise this ninety-year-old man that he will be alive in sixty days. Why are they picking on people who have a kind heart? At least he is trying to help the homeless. Arnold Abbott deserves to be treated better than this. He is only trying to help people out, and keep people from starving. Why is it a crime to help people? I think we are sending the wrong message here.
What are your thoughts on the 90-year-old man being arrested for feeding others?
