Cara menghitung logaritma tidak harus selalu menggunakan kalkulator, persepsi bahwa logaritma harus diselesaikan dengan kalkulator itu tidak benar. Dengan memahami sifat logaritma itu sendiri, menghafal 4 "nilai dasar dari logaritma", dan paham akan metode interpolasi linier, dari sini pencarian nilai logaritma dengan kalkulator tidak menjadi hal yang mustahil.

Khusus untuk kisi-kisi UN matematika SMA tahun 2015 jurusan IPS agak berbeda dengan kisi-kisi UN matematika SMA IPS tahun 2015. Perbedaan yang ada antara lain pada soal UN matematika tahun 2015 mengikutsertakan materi tentang integral, sedangkan pada soal UN matematika tahun 2015 tidak diikutkan. RPP Matematika SMA Kurikulum 2015, tahun pelajaran 2015-2015 menggunakan kurikulum 2015 yang serentak di laksanakan diseluruh sekolah. Untuk tingkat SMA, kurikulum 2015 di berlakukan bagi kelas 10 dan kelas 11. Sedang  untuk kelas 12 masih tetap memakai KTSP 2006.
Elemen perubahan kurikulum 2015 terletak pada kompetensi lulusan, proses, materi dan juga penilaian.Berikut penjelasan singkatnya:

Rumus Singkat, Smart Solutions Soal UN Matematika

Seringkali, ketika saya sedang membahas suatu soal matematika di depan kelas – setelah beberapa saat ada siswa yang menyeletuk, “ Pak, ada cara yang singkat ndak?”.
Trenyuh, anyel, sedih, dan entah perasaan apalagi yang muncul seketika itu. Ironis, melihat kenyataan bahwa belum juga siswa mencoba mengerjakan sudah mengatakan susah. Geregetan, melihat pola pikir mereka yang serba instan dan ingin mudahnya saja. Betapa siswa jaman sekarang begitu mudah menyerah.

Rumus singkat, smart solutions, cara cepat, trik kilat, atau apalah istilahnya untuk mengerjakan soal matematika menjadi andalan mereka. Terutama yang saat ini sedang duduk di kelas XII dan bersiap menghadapi soal UN. Bukannya anti dengan semua hal itu, tapi lebih kepada menyayangkan pola pikir dan cara pandang mereka dalam menyelesaikan persoalan. Dalam salah satu page pada blog ini ada juga rumus-rumus praktis yang saya upload dan bisa diunduh serta trik menggunakan cara cepat untuk menyelesaikan soal matematika, khususnya soal UN matematika.

Tapi, yang perlu ditekankan di sini, 

Rumus singkat, smart solutions, cara cepat, trik kilat untuk mengerjakan soal UN matematika, pasti membutuhkan penguasaan konsep-konsep dasar matematika terlebih dahulu. 

Kecuali misalnya, cara cepat itu adalah memanjangkan leher guna menyontek pekerjaan yang ada di depan atau sampingnya, atau berdoa dan bersabar menunggu SMS dari teman andalan.
Akan tetapi kebijakan kurikulum dan pemerintah mulai mengarah agar tindakan-tindakan tercela seperti menyontek dan kecurangan-kecurangan dalam mengerjakan soal-soal UN dapat dikurangi atau dihilangkan.
Saran saya, percaya dirilah. Jangan menggantungkan nasib pada orang lain. Setiap apa yang kita usahakan nantinya akan membuahkan hasil yang setimpal; entah itu sekarang atau nanti.

Pendekatan Saintifik dan Model Pembelajaran Kurikulum 2015

Jika anda menemukan artikel pendekatan saintifik dan model pembelajaran kurikulum 2015 ini dalam usaha untuk belajar mengimplementasikan kurikulum 2015 di kelas anda, maka artikel ini adalah bacaan yang pas untuk dipelajari. Isi dari artikel ini sebagian besar mendasarkan pada pedoman kurikulum 2015 yang dikeluarkan oleh Kemendikbud.

Berikut adalah uraian singkat tentang pendekatan saintifik, model pembelajaran dan metode pembelajaran di dalam kurikulum 2015.

PENDEKATAN SAINTIFIK

Ada lima kegiatan utama di dalam proses pembelajaran menggunakan pendekatan saintifik, yaitu:

1. Mengamati

Mengamati dapat dilakukan antara lain melalui kegiatan mencari informasi, melihat, mendengar, membaca, dan atau menyimak. 

2. Menanya

Menanya untuk membangun pengetahuan peserta didik secara faktual, konseptual, dan prosedural, hingga berpikir metakognitif, dapat dilakukan melalui kegiatan diskusi, kerja kelompok, dan diskusi kelas. 

3. Mencoba

Mengeksplor/mengumpulkan informasi, atau mencoba untuk meningkatkan keingintahuan peserta didik dalam mengembangkan kreatifitas, dapat dilakukan melalui membaca, mengamati aktivitas, kejadian atau objek tertentu, memperoleh informasi, mengolah data, dan menyajikan hasilnya dalam bentuk tulisan, lisan, atau gambar. 

4. Mengasosiasi  

Mengasosiasi dapat dilakukan melalui kegiatan menganalisis data, mengelompokan, membuat kategori, menyimpulkan, dan memprediksi/mengestimasi.

5. Mengkomunikasikan

Mengomunikasikan adalah sarana untuk menyampaikan hasil konseptualisasi dalam bentuk lisan, tulisan, gambar/sketsa, diagram, atau grafik, dapat dilakukan melalui presentasi,  membuat laporan, dan/ atau unjuk kerja.

MODEL PEMBELAJARAN

Pengertian model pembelajaran adalah bentuk pembelajaran yang tergambar dari awal sampai akhir yang disajikan secara khas oleh guru. 

Model pembelajaran merupakan bingkai dari penerapan suatu pendekatan, metode, dan teknik pembelajaran. Ada banyak model pembelajaran dan beberapa yang disarankan di dalam kurikulum 2015 diantaranya adalah:

1. Inquiry Based Learning
2. Discovery Based Learning
3. Project Based Learning
4. Problem Based Learning

Berikut ini sedikit uraian penjelasan langkah-langkah dari tiap model pembelajaran.

1. Inquiry Based Learning: 

Langkah-langkah atau sintaks nya adalah sebagai berikut:

• Observasi/Mengamati 
• Mengajukan pertanyaan 
• Mengajukan dugaan atau kemungkinan jawaban/ mengasosiasi atau melakukan penalaran
• Mengumpulkan data yang terakait dengan dugaan atau pertanyaan yang diajukan/memprediksi dugaan
• Merumuskan kesimpulan-kesimpulan berdasarkan data yang telah diolah atau dianalisis, mempresentasikan atau menyajikan hasil temuannya.

2. Discovery Based Learning: 

Langkah-langkah atau sintaks nya adalah sebagai berikut:

• Stimulation (memberi stimulus); bacaan, atau gambar, atau situasi, sesuai dengan materi pembelajaran/topik/tema. 
• Problem Statement (mengidentifikasi masalah); menemukan permasalahan menanya, mencari informasi, dan merumuskan masalah.
• Data Collecting (mengumpulkan data); mencari dan mengumpulkan data/informasi, melatih ketelitian, akurasi, dan kejujuran, mencari atau merumuskan berbagai alternatif pemecahan masalah
• Data Processing (mengolah data); mencoba dan mengeksplorasi pengetahuan konseptualnya,  melatih keterampilan berfikir logis dan aplikatif.
• Verification (memferifikasi); mengecek kebenaran atau keabsahan hasil pengolahan data, mencari sumber yang relevan baik dari buku atau media, mengasosiasikannya menjadi suatu kesimpulan.
• Generalization (menyimpulkan); melatih pengetahuan metakognisi peserta didik.

3. Problem Based Learning;

Langkah-langkah atau sintaks nya adalah sebagai berikut:

• Orientasi pada masalah; mengamati masalah yang menjadi objek pembelajaran.
• Pengorganisasian kegiatan pembelajaran; menyampaikan berbagai pertanyaan (atau menanya)  terhadap malasalah kajian.
• Penyelidikan mandiri dan kelompok; melakukan percobaan (mencoba) untuk memperoleh data dalam rangka menyelesaikan masalah yang dikaji.
• Pengembangan dan Penyajian hasil; mengasosiasi data yang ditemukan dengan berbagai data lain dari berbagai sumber. 
• Analisis dan evaluasi proses pemecahan masalah; 

4. Project  Based Learning;

Langkah-langkah atau sintaks nya adalah sebagai berikut:

• Menyiapkan pertanyaan atau penugasan proyek; langkah awal agar peserta didik mengamati lebih dalam  terhadap pertanyaan yang muncul dari fenomena yang ada.
• Mendesain perencanaan proyek; menyusun perencanaan proyek bisa melalui percobaan.
• Menyusun jadwal sebgai langkah nyata dari sebuah proyek.
• Memonitor kegiatan dan perkembangan proyek; mengevaluasi proyek yang sedang dikerjakan.
• Menguji hasil;  Fakta dan data dihubungkan dengan berbagai data lain.
• Mengevaluasi kegiatan/pengalaman; mengevaluasi kegiatan sebagai acuan perbaikan untuk tugas proyek pada mata pelajaran yang sama atau mata pelajaran lain. 

METODE PEMBELAJARAN

Metode pembelajaran adalah cara yang digunakan untuk mengimplementasikan rencana yang sudah disusun dalam bentuk kegiatan nyata dan praktis untuk mencapai tujuan pembelajaran.

Di dalam kurikulum 2015 disarankan metode pembelajaran dalam kelas diantaranya adalah: 

- Diskusi

- Eksperimen

- Demonstrasi

- Simulasi

Jika semua itu dapat diimplementasikan dengan benar sesuai yang diharapkan maka keseluruhan kompetensi yang mencakup 4 ranah, yaitu kompetensi sikap spiritual, sikap sosial, pengetahuan dan keterampilan akan dapat dicapai oleh peserta didik sesuai dengan tuntutan Standar Kompetensi Lulusan (SKL).

Funny Things You Find Googling

So I not really felt like posting today. I liked a few things this evening but not really feeling it till now.

I was googling my family and where they lived during ww2 and I got a funny hit on my grampy. Apparently there was this" toddenham pudding" that was leftovers from a hotel that was to be given to the pigs. The villagers used to sort it and used to find things other than food like knifes, forks and spoons. One day they found a jersey. It was duly washed and they think it was my gramp that wore it for years to come. What a bizarre thing to read about.

A day off Bubblews to Clear the Mind

I took a day off to clear my mind and hopefully come up with some articles that are not all fluff, yes I know that writing about your world is encouraged and I do that occasionally, but I found that I was doing it much more often then I was comfortable with, bubblews is supposed to be a social site, so it is accepted here, but I was getting a little worried that my followers would get a little bored of the random ramblings of my mind.

So I took a nice day off, cleared my mind and decided to write a couple of book reviews, some random facts that popped into my head from my younger days when I was into unusual facts, and of course a couple of musings about the daily news that I found interesting, disturbing or amusing.

Dang it, I think this actually qualified as a fluff post, ahh well, my next one will be a book review, so fear not, today will not be all boring :)

Birthday invitations all done

It is Nautilus junior's birthday next month and we have booked a pool party for him in the first week of December. He has drawn up a list of who he would like to come and this evening it was time to get the invites ready.

I had already photocopied some information about the party which I got from the leisure centre. I had to complete the invitation cards, staple the information sheet to them and then carry out some origami to get it all into the envelope.

Now it is down to the party boy to distribute them to the correct children tomorrow. In total we have invited 16 children even though we could have had up to 35 . We are not that made though!

Now we will just have to wait and see who can come before getting other things arranged like the party bags and food.

Ched Evans, should he be allowed to play again?

Sheffield United have reignited controversy today by allowing Ched Evans to start training with them again.

Evans was convicted of raping a 19 year old and served half of his 5 year prison sentence. He has been unrepentant about the crime and has vowed to clear his name. It now appears possible that Sheffield United may offer him a new professional football contract.

This raises several issues. Should we consider that he has been punished, even though it might be thought that just two and a half years was insufficient, and therefore be able to return to his profession. If he did a job that was not in the public eye then it would probably not be an issue. However as he is a potential role model for youngsters the issues with him returning to football are more far reaching. On the other hand should he be prevented from earning a living doing his job?

Whatever your viewpoint, itseems like a poor public relations decision by Sheffield United.

Hello again Bubblers, Today I have break at school and I am sitting in my room . I was playing World Of Tanks, The last battle was so bad that I decided to give it up for a while, So Now it's time to start writing homework, I wanted to start writing it on 2:00 p.m and it's 1:25 p.m. Hope that by 2:00 p.m I will have written more than half of my homework.Usually it doesn't take so much,but today I have to write about 50 examples.. Nice Weather For Ducks Or Not?

Well we are out and about on our little shopping and physio trip and I have to say that right now I would much rather be tucked up in a warm bed with possibly the wood burning fire blazing away to itself in our living room warming the house to the better side of toasty.

Today is one of those awful wet weather days that unfortunately we locals here in Somerset got used to last winter and I really hope we don't get the same floods across the county as we did last in this county.

I noticed her pretty early on but I'm shy and we didn't sit near each other in either class so I didn't really worry about it. I see her every weekday. Sometimes I make comments in group conversations. Recently, a group of us were standing around before class. She and I talked a little, some about our other mutual class. She seems like a really interesting person. I would like to talk to her more but she always rushes off after class and we don't sit near each other. I have considered casually sitting next to her in the MWF class but I'm shy and settled into my routine. How do I talk to her more? How do I find out if she's into chicks? She's tomboyish and sporty-looking but I know that no matter how many stereotypes she fits, there's no guarantee. If she is into ladies, what then? Do I ask her for coffee? I don't even know if she's old enough to ask out for a beer.

Kids wall decal question

So, my daughter is a special case and my wife and I are at our wits end trying to figure out what is different about our daughter and how to get her the help she needs. Our daughter is 9 years old, we have a 2 year old son, and are currently trying for another one. My wife and I have a healthy relationship, have a loving household, eat well and exercise, and are all around healthy in just about every way. When it comes to our daughter, something is just...off about her and other people readily notice this. People that first meet her are drawn in to her personality but after getting to know her, they realize she’s a broken human being inside.

At around 4 years old, our daughter, would suddenly go into these trance-like tantrums that would last hours. For example, say she was playing with a ball and was asked to put the ball away to come eat dinner. If she didn’t want to, she would get angry and refuse. You could be nice, try to persuade her, bribe her, or do any other trick to get her to change her mind but she would become fixated on fighting with the cover of playing with the ball. If we were to take the ball from her, she would immediately become fixated on hurting anyone near her (scratching, throwing things, biting, etc) and would repeat the phrase “Give me my ball!” for hours until her episode ended and never say anything else other than that phrase (or “Give me [insert item]” or “Let me do [insert activity]”). You could try and talk with her, but all she would do is repeat the phrase while screaming and crying while also trying to seriously hurt you. It was seriously like she was in a trance because you couldn’t communicate with her while she was having an episode. They were unlike any tantrums we’ve ever experienced and the staff at her daycare, then school, had ever witnessed.

Our daughter is a compulsive liar. If you ask her if she did something like brush her teeth, without hesitating she will give you the answer you want instead of the truth (always no since she has very poor hygiene and my wife and I have to monitor her to ensure she bathes properly and brushes her teeth, even at 9 years old). One of her chores was to walk the dog when she got home from school in order to establish a routine for her, but she would take the dog out into the hallway and wait for 10-15 minutes, then come back in as if she actually walked him. She quickly lost that chore when I caught her abusing the dog by repeatedly yanking the leash so hard it knocked him off his feet after we once again caught her in the lie and she was mad at the dog for whining about having to go pee.

She constantly breaks things for no real reason other than she wanted to break them. I will randomly find things broken around the house and know how it happened. The other day, the vinyl lining on the new cabinets were peeling and I knew she did it (she lied at first, then copped to it). She breaks her brother’s toys, her mother’s jewelry, just about anything lying around. She does not care about anyone else’s things other than her own. If you break one of her toys, though, she blows up. She also does weird things to our 2 year old’s toys. We recently found out she was peeing in a bucket and soaking up the urine in her brother’s water-squirting bath toys “just because.” He enjoyed those toys and she didn’t like that, so she ruined it.

She is extremely manipulative. She had the school counselor wrapped around her finger from K-3rd grade, but this year the counselor finally admitted to herself that she was being played and put her foot down. This girl even manipulated her previous therapist into believing I was emotionally abusing her and had CPS investigate us for child abuse. The CPS agent did the investigation and concluded that our daughter was lying and that our household is not abusive at all. We don’t spank our kids, nor do we mistreat them (even after all she’s put us through). After realizing that she could inflict real stress and damage to our family by using CPS, our daughter began repeatedly threatening to call CPS on us to say we were abusing her. She had some bruises on her arms from a side effect from her Prozac and she lied and told the school that I caused the bruises. Well, another CPS investigation was conducted and the same agent soon realized my daughter was once again lying to everyone.

Her grandfather, who she was close with, recently passed away and the first thing out of our daughter’s mouth was, “Who gets his iPad?” She has no empathy for anyone and can not connect with anyone. She has no friends at school, is never invited to any parties or activities, and has been ostracized by her peers for her behavior. She constantly acts out in school and is a bully. When she was in 1st grade, she forced another little girl to squat over the bathroom floor drain and urinate in front of her just because she if she could make another kid do it. The little girl was traumatized but the school hid this incident from us for months for reasons we are unsure of.

We started taking our daughter to therapy when she was 5. However, after spending months with a therapist and getting nowhere and the therapists not providing any insight into what was wrong with her, we would try a new therapist and hope that maybe the next one will be the one to break through to her. Nope, they all kept telling us different things: that she has ADHD, that she is just depressed, that she has a generic mood disorder, etc. We took her to a neurologist who did blood work and an EEG at a therapist’s recommendation and got nowhere. She’s been on Prozac, Adderall, Intuniv, Lexapro, and vitamins and nothing has changed. She’s had five different therapists and each one has diagnosed her with different things. They all love taking our money but none of them have shown any interest in really helping her.

Where the heck do we go for help? What do we do? Therapy isn’t helping, medication isn’t helping, nothing we do at home helps. My wife and I are both afraid this little girl will grow up to be a serial killer if she keeps this up. We can’t connect with her, she doesn’t have any attachment to any other people, she mistreat animals, she destroys property for the fun of it, and we have to keep her away from her little brother because she will hit him just to see him cry. This girl has become so bad that we dread having her in the house with us because she’s either going to break something, hurt someone, or cause problems. We’ve resorted to video recording all of her episodes to protect us in case she reports us to CPS again. Where do we go from here? Please help us.

TL;DR: Our daughter lacks empathy, loves destroying things, mistreats animals and other kids, and has violent episodes. Years of therapy and medication haven’t made any progress and she is getting worse as she gets older. Where do we go for help?

Creative Writing Vs. Commercial Writing

Okay. I've been probing through some of these online freelancing sites lately, looking for something that will make me some quick cash... quickly! As I've said before, there's a difference between creative writing and commercial writing (which is obvious) but I want to stress that the main one is that I like creative writing better.

The problem is that no one is biting at my proposals! I've got several online freelancer accounts all over the place and have maxed out my limit, hoping someone throws me a friggin bone!

Because there's no better fire under your ass than for someone to tell you to start and when it's due. Then, it's crunch time. Right now, I could say that I'm going to spend the next three hours writing three stories, one per hour. Maybe I'll do that.

And if that's what I'm going to do, then I'm going to have to market my own books and sell them through my site. If I'm going to do that, I'm going to have to spend the next several hours learning how to make my own e-books and start selling in 24 hours.

This is so ambitious, it's scary.

How serious are you?

Posting publicly has some sobriety to it I am just wondered how much. I know this depends on each person. How a person uses a social platform will be different with every individual.

For me, I’m all over the place. It goes along with my mood as does my topics. I’ve noticed that some members specialize in one or a few topical areas.

The word social also conjures up some idea of a comfortable approach. I release too that we are being paid something for posting so that might overshadow our thinking. While having set goals towards an activity might make it more...?

Bubblews Is Addictive, Does It Keep You Up At Night?

I should really be in bed right now, but as I do most nights I'm staying up reading and writing on Bubblews. This site does keep me up most nights when I should be sleeping. As a mother I need all the sleep that I can get, however this site is just so addictive.

Does anyone else feel the same way? Does Bubblews keep you up late into the night? Bubblews is like alcohol, I keep going and drinking and then when I wake up tired in the morning I end up regretting it, only to do the exact same thing the next night.

I think some of us might need Bubblews rehab lol.

A top five episode for me despite a major flaw in the premise.

The boys are invited to compete in the university Physics Bowl Trophy contest. As they practice, with a bemused Penny’s help, Sheldon makes it clear that he wants to play single handedly, leaving the other three with nothing to do.

They kick him off the team, replacing him with Leslie Winkle, who hates Sheldon as a misogynistic moron. Sheldon retaliates by getting a new team comprising of the cleaner, caretaker and another randomly found player, so he can play alone against the others.

The big problem here is the total absence of other teams. We go straight to the final without any heats or preliminary games for what is seen as a major contest.

Sheldon’s selfish plan backfires in very unexpected ways and Howard’s victory strip on winning is one of the funniest moments in comedy history.

Regret sending them off without a kiss

For the longest time I didn't know we could like our own posts. I published them and waited for someone to be the first to like my babies.

Much later I read that it's okay to like your own baby. I learned that many were doing it. Suddenly this made sense. If I don't like my own stuff, how could anyone else like it?

I started clicking the star on my posts first thing – it became a ritual. A bit like sending a kid off with a kiss and good wishes into the world. Who knows how that world would treat it. At least I'd done my best as a parent. I'd cared, dressed it up in warm clothes, shown it some affection.

Now I have to send my babies off without that kiss. It's weird, it feels like something's missing.

And I think about all the early posts I did send off without a kiss. For some crazy reason, I feel sorry they had to go and fight for themselves without as much as a good-bye kiss.

There are so many advertising slogans out there about products, now most people would no literally take the slogan to mean exactly what it does, well most normal people.

There was the impulse advert that showed if you put this deodorant on, then men would chase after you and bring flowers.

There is the axe advert that makes men believe that if they use AXE, then woman Angles who look like supermodels will run after them.

There are so many out there, even the "Red bull gives you wings one" and now Red Bull are being sued because their drink does not give people wings. Oh Good Golly

Rain put the bag 5.5 million USD thanks to Chinese film

Young amateurs of South Korea are particularly popular in the world's most populous nation.

Shortly after South Korean dramas of Rain-My Lovely Girl-closed, good-looking kind guy will join a Chinese film project named Diamond Lover.

In the film, the Rain played So Ryang-CEO of the company is the world's biggest diamond, known for his perfectionist personality and cold. Starred with him in Diamond Lover is The Still-beautiful Chinese actress born in 1986, is the favorite over some films like Goal earning United States, masters like Lin, etc.

Chinese media insisted, for this role, Rain will get the amount of sand Odyssey reached 6 billion won (about 5.5 million US dollars).

Scheduled filming in December, Diamond Lover will go through a number of countries including China, South Korea, Belgium.

This is not the first Chinese movie of Rain. In 2015, the young member of South Korea recently completed film For Love or Money (Lo marine Hong nhan) compilation with "jewellery" Liu Yifei. The film will be released to theatres in South Korea on November 14.

Just Typing

Ill just type down what am doing as am just staring at my laptop trying to find the first word to begin with not to mention i have no topic in mind.
I have alot of things that i want to say and am just not sure where to start.
So many whys and what ifs
It doesnt matter at the end of it all what matters is what am doing yet in my head what am typing is not making any sense but it is offering me a channel to just vent out somehow and this is making me happy. I am smiling even though i think am going crazy.

11th November, Remembrance day..

Well, today is remembrance day and I know a lot of us we be marking the day and paying our respects at 11am with a minutes silence. The 11th hour of the 11th day on the 11th month.

It was so lovely seeing all the children wearing their poppies at school this morning. They all looked really smart and were proud to wear their poppies, The head teacher was stood at the gates greeting the kids as she normally does wearing a beautiful bright red knitted poppy. The school are doing a special assembly for the children this morning.

Lest we forget.

Not Bad

As I redeemed this morning I have been able to see what my bank is doing in relation to my activity. I have posted three times so far with this being the fourth. From those three posts my bank has climbed up to $1.94 so roughly $0.64 a post.

I can't complain at that, I would like to get back to a dollar a post minimum as I was before the changes but I think that would take a lot more effort than I am willing to give at the moment as I am enjoying my Bubblews vs real life balance.

100 days of happiness #day2

Well let me think about my day.

In fact i can think straight away three things that have made me smile/happy.

1 my managers daughter made me a green loom bracelet as a little surprise. I bought her a few when really cheap as it was the school holidays :)
2 being positive has had a really good effect on my day.
3 winning the football stadium model for my nephew that has really made my day.

So as you see i have done okay today and to be honest I could have done a few more but wont be greedy now lol.

Survey: Confidence in the euro zone is recovering

A survey showed on Monday that confidence in the eurozone rebounded slightly in November, after three months of decline, with investors encouraged, and the belief that increasing the activity of the global economy, led by the United States and Japan may be useful for the region.

Rose Snteks research group index, which tracks investor sentiment in the euro zone, to -11.9 in November from -13.7 in October, surpassing the average forecast of -13.5, in a survey conducted by "Reuters".

In a statement, Snteks group, "said declining growth expectations since August stop in November. Contributed to data from the Central Bank of Japan and the European Central Bank in supporting investors' expectations for the next six months," pointing to an increase in stimulus measures for the two banks.

Everyone is Still Sleeping

Well because I could not sleep I decided to get up and shower and dress so I would not be in the way and I would not keep anyone waiting for me.
I heard from my daughter that the doctor did another ultrasound and it is definitely confirmed she is having a boy. I will now have three grandsons. 'I love my boys!
I will try and get a bubble or two posted at night in the hotel 'but can't be sure. I think I will have my hands full trying to keep up with my sister in law. It should be an interesting couple of days.. My sister in law likes to shop so much I hope there is room for me in the car to come home!

I'm the birthday boy today

Today marks the passing of another year for me as it is my birthday. There are a lot of elevens involved in my birthday. It is the eleventh day of the eleventh month of the year and I was born during the eleventh hour of the night. Perhaps unsurprisingly, I consider eleven to be my lucky number.

We went out for a meal on Sunday evening to celebrate so I won't be doing anything in particular today to celebrate.

I think I have got to the age now where one more year onto the number doesn't make any real difference so it doesn't bother me what the number is any more.

Today of course also marks armistice day commerating the end of the first world war.

I’m tired of reading depressing poetry about stupid boys who break your heart. How they end with you’ll be okay and it’s time to move on. I don’t want to constantly think about drowning myself in alcohol or getting stoned to the point where I can’t move. I’m tired of seeing you in everything around me and having my knees give out every time I hear your name. They say to just let go, that it’s easier than holing on but what they don’t know is. That holding on to you is all I know anymore because I got lost in your eyes and the way you talk. I fall harder in love every time you come up in a conversation. What they don’t know is somehow I find ways to fall deeper in love with you when I didn’t think it was possible. I hate that I met you and I hate that I love you because now I’m stuck on you and they say to just let go, but if I let go then I’m left with nothing..

Have you been betrayed by a friend in the past

It is usually very painful when you are betrayed by a trusted friend especially one you repose so much confidence in. betrayal by a friend is worse than the venom of a serpent and this kind of shock if not well managed can have very indelible mark and psychological effect on the recipient of this betrayal.

In order to overcome the shock that arises from the betrayal of a friend, it is always advisable to keep the mind open to anything because we live in a world where trust is a foregone conclusion and can only be gotten on a chance basis.
Instead of brooding over this sort of betrayal, it is best if you allow events pass by and move on, forgiving the offending party and continually keeping your mind open to even ore betrayals so that when they eventually come, there would be no shock or trauma for you to manage.

Heavy breakfast

I like eating a lot of breakfast.I hear when you eat much during breakfast,your day will be good.This is because you will have the appropriate energy and necessary amount of it to continue with your job,over the day.But when you eat less,your day will be a nightmare to you and even to others,maybe the ones you work or stay with.So consider taking breakfast with energy giving foods.I have just taken mine,and i now feel myself a new creature,i can now do any job,including bubbling till night.Nice day bubblers.

The Need to Read

I am reading this fun book "A Discovery of Witches" by Deborah Harkness. I haven't picked it up in a couple of days, and I think I should sign off of Bubblews and devote some time to it before I shut my eyes for the night.
Tomorrow will be another busy day for me. I have to be up and out of the house by 8:30 to meet with a client, pick up flyers, then come home and work in my home office for a few hours. I work a 5 hour shift at the store tomorrow night too.
I will be ready to tuck myself into bed after all of that, but I will probably fit in a couple of bubbles first.

50 Positive Days: Day 8

// My manager got a new job. You don't know how happy this makes me that she won't be our manager again. YES.

Dentist Time.

I'm way overdue to see the dentist. Unfortunately, I need to find a new dentist. My previous dentist is marvelous, but, he charges a 30% premium over and above my Blue Cross coverage I have from work. I have the luxury of free regular dental work and 60% coverage on all crowns. However, when I factor in the additional premium cost, I just can't afford it.

So, I have put off going to the dentist until now. Now I'm starting to notice a few aches and am forced to look for a dentist - now!
I am fortunate in that I have received a few recommendations from friends at work that have long term dentists that don't charge a premium. So I'll have to get busy and pick one.

"Where do babies come from?"

I have read the wikipedia page on Montessori education and I feel like I don't fully "grok" it -- I'm not sure I see how it differs from conventional preschool except in seemingly minor ways (e.g. mixed age groups), but that's probably due to lack of experience with preschools.

Can anyone give me a better sense of what "Montessori" really means, how it differs from conventional preschool, and if there's any evidence that it's superior? Are there other philosophies like Montessori, or are preschools basically Montessori or not-Montessori?

Last question unrelated to Montessori -- is there any research showing the best time to enroll kids in preschool? I know there are some around me that will take them as young as 18 months, which is coming up quickly for my daughter. I'd be happy to move her but I feel like we are finally in a good place with her current daycare -- she knows and likes her teachers, she's on a good schedule, she has "friends" there (to the extent a 1yo has friends), I like the other parents, etc. So is there an advantage to moving her to a preschool at 18 months or should I wait until she's older? How old?

This wonderful man lives in Macedonia. I actually felt a little ignorant when I saw that he lived here because for some reason I was thinking it had been renamed something else because I hadn't heard about it in a very long time.

He creates busts and other types of jewelry hanging devices. This was my first purchase ever on "Etsy" and I was so happy with the purchase, it was my jewelry bust, that looks viking-esq. The shipping and handling was the most I'd ever paid before, but it was worth it, at least for me and what I was doing.

Down the road I'm thinking about getting another one, since I believe that he can do other colors as well for the bust. So I just love this "etsy" user and I thought that I would share him with you.

The night is young but I am not

Well, my lovely, beautiful bubble friends, I am going to say good night and leave you until the sun rises for another day tomorrow. 20 years ago the night would have been young but now I am not, so I must go to my bed!
